From Italy to Norwalk, CT.

Sergio was born in Calabria, Italy and went to culinary school there. After finishing his training, he went to work in Venice, Italy for the Grand Hotel. After spending time in Venice, he moved to the US in 1981 to Stamford, CT where he bought Bagel Kings’ two locations in Stamford and Norwalk. In 2010, he sold them and retired.

After some time, he realized he missed cooking and the smile he put on people’s faces, so he joined ShopRite's Deli Division as the Customer Service Manager. After a few years, he moved to Norwalk and bought Francesca’s in 2014.
